On to Chicago

I'm heading out shortly for Chicago for the weekend. Going to be at a YDA training session. Hopefully will get a chance to lobby the DNCers in town to pass the rumored resolution demanding Lieberman drop out and endorse Lamont. Go Ned!

MN Christian Coalition founder flees tax evasion charges

The Strib reports that "Authorities are seeking Robert Beale, an MIT-educated engineer and owner of a Maple Grove computer firm, who skipped his own trial."

"He was a Minnesota delegate to the Republican National Convention in the 1980s, Bradford Beale said, and contributed more than $10,000 to Republican candidates in the 1990s, according to Federal Election Commission records. He founded the Minnesota Christian Coalition, which is affiliated with the politically oriented Christian Coalition of America."

What they don't mention is that he's also the father of Ted Beale, best known as WorldNetDaily columnist "Vox Day", who once said (and went on to repeatedly defend), "It's pretty clear to me that one of the most destructive forces in our society has been women's suffrage."
